I actually caught quite alot of Gore today, and he was great as usual. The only part that bothered me, listening to Oprah pontificate to the masses about the importance of action. Have you seen her house? She has more smoke stacks than the coal-fired electrical plant in Nanticoke.

Saw a few minutes of it, painful to watch.

i'm sorry while i fully support aggressive r&d on renewable energy technology as a national security issue - i do not buy the ridiculous piffle that Al Gore passes off as scientific certainty. First of all Global warming may or may not be happening all depends how you extrapolate the data - which is always the first avenue of corruption in any type of wavelet analysis. if there is warming there is absolutely nothing that can be done about it.
On another note, if you did watch the Oprah show you may remember the howler about how he and tipper once tried to plant a cut christmas tree in the backyard, thinking it might grow. is he serious? should he really have admitted that? that's the kind of logic my 4 year old would use.

Watched a little bit of it, but very informative. Global warming is evident in our life. For example' Winter in Michigan lately seems like every other season. The water levels of Lake Ontario is decreasing at a moderate amount. Its just more than carbon dioxide. Thers's nitrogen from fish tanks, cars; sulfur from diesel vehicles and factories and other trace hydrocarbon compound elements in the atmoshpere. It all boils down to humans have to learn to live a more clean life for our kids to live here.
